Once upon a time, a lovely couple with a compact home dreamed of a kitchen and bathroom that felt anything but small. Their wish was to create an open, airy space, and we were happy to help make that dream a reality.

The first order of business was to open up the heart of the home. We widened the entryway between the dining room and kitchen, framing it with a graceful arch to invite light and conversation. Next, we expanded the rear deck, and with it, we installed clever pocket sliding glass doors that vanish seamlessly into the walls.

With a simple slide, the kitchen now spills directly out onto the deck, making the space feel twice its size. The view from the dining room now stretches straight through to the outdoors, bathing the entire area in a light that was long missing.

Finally, we turned our attention to the bathroom. Using a soft, feminine palette from Fireclay tile, we meticulously crafted a beautiful retreat where every detail was carefully considered, giving the clients a truly custom and serene space.
