It was a tale of two bathrooms, each with its own distinct personality: one a playful, yet classic haven crafted for growing teenage girls, and the other a serene master retreat designed for ultimate relaxation.

The Girls' Bathroom

In the girls’ bathroom, clean, modern lines were given a soft touch. We introduced rich textures with Japanese-inspired Shou Sugi Ban-like floor tiles and wall tiles with a delicate, linen-like glaze. Rounded shapes took center stage—from the pearl-in-oyster wall sconce and the free-hanging capsule mirror to the playful half-moon cabinet pulls. Every detail was considered: medicine cabinets were seamlessly integrated into the walls for a flush look, and a charming wooden water drop pull offered a unique spot to hang jewelry or hand towels.

The finishing touch was a whimsical wallpaper featuring a hand-drawn, imperfect vertical pattern that perfectly echoed the surrounding tile work.

The Master Bath

The master bath was a world of calm, embracing a natural color palette. Terrazzo floor tiles provided a subtle foundation, while a warm teak vanity and Red Gum details around the windows and doors added organic warmth. The walls were enveloped in tiles etched with a Wabi Sabi pattern, creating a soft, hazy texture all around. The space opened up dramatically with a luxurious, freestanding tub featuring inviting rounded lines and a soft matte finish—a true sanctuary designed for peace and quiet.
